Showing promise as a tight knit unit, the Warrior Linemen battled successfully against teams from Ventura County and beyond in several “Hogs” competitions over the summer season. These were done concurrently with the 7 on 7 “passing league” games. Although not a perfect predictor of success in the upcoming 2009 season, the team unity and competitive warrior spirit displayed during these events impressed both coaches and parents alike.
